About the Press

Medieval Institute Publications

Established in 1964, and housed within the Medieval Institute at Western Michigan University, Medieval Institute Publications (MIP) publishes two series of volumes—Studies in Medieval Culture (SMC) and Early Drama, Art, and Music (EDAM). It also publishes, co-publishes, and/or distributes non-series volumes and journals including Studies in Iconography and Medieval Prosopography, as well as materials produced by the Consortium for the Teaching of the Middle Ages (TEAMS), and selected titles originally published elsewhere.
